Internet Question in basement

We finally got around to doing something with the room opposite the garage. My dh was trying to figure out the internet issue down there. The signal is very weak.

For those of you that have internet down in the basement, do you have a separate line?

We have the opposite, our wireless modem is in the basement. We have no problems with our signal. It might be a tiny bit weak on the second floor (2 floors above basement) but you can still use it without too much slowing down and we don't use internet all that much up there anyway.

I have a wireless router in my basement, one in my office on the first floor, and one on the 2nd floor. I have plenty of signal strength in my house....

If the signal is week, just get a repeater or another router to boost the signal.

DH had this issue because his office is in our detached garage. We just bought an extender or whatever it's called.

We also recently upgraded our router through the cable company and haven't had any issues.

We have our wireless router in the basement of a 4-level split. The signal upstairs gets a little spotty in places, but overall it's fine.
