Mice!!
Anyone ever have a problem? Im so disgusted! In the 6 years ive owned my home ihave never had an issue! The past three nights we have caught one each night. We used the traps with peanut butter. Im not sure what to do..anyone have good suggestions? There is no way im finding any hole bc there is nothing around my house. These mice have been caught in my kitchen. Anyone use an exterminator? Im just curious if i was to call someone in im wondering how mych this could run?

Re: Mice!!
Traps are effective, and an exterminator might help, though may not be necessary. BUT, you do have a hole somewhere. They have to be coming in from somewhere. Keep putting the traps out to catch the family that's in your house, but I'd also suggest checking your basement (if you have one) to find where they're coming in from.

Mice!!
Because it has been warm they are coming in a bit later in the year now. They are trying to find somewhere warm. They could be getting in through a pin size hole so you will never find it. Traps and try to keep food sealed as much as possible. They will chew through boxes etc.

Re: Mice!!
Mice can fit in through a hole the size of a dime. There has to be some kind of opening. is your kitchen over a basement or open to the outside?
We had a bad problem 2 years ago, my husband is lucky I didn't burn the house down.

Re: Mice!!
Agree with PP - mice can fit through very small openings. I'd call exterminator and have them secure your home.
When I was younger, we rented a house on same block as a cemetery. We would get some many mice when the cold weather hit. Nothing we did stopped them. So we got a cat! Didn't see another mouse again. Honestly, some people will even use another cats old kitty litter (has to be dirty). The scent will drive them out and keep them away. And then Once holes are sealed, you should be fine
