My nurse contacted me on Wednesday reminding me to let her know about Day 1 so they can start me on birth control in anticipation of the FET cycle we're doing in February. She said they were thinking to put me on the pill to guarantee my start in early February instead of waiting for my next period to come. I explained to her that my cycle is usually very regular and if it comes any day now this month as scheduled my February cycle will most likely start right around the same date they had me penciled in if I were to take the pill. So we agreed to not go the BCP route and of course AF is late this month (and not for pregnancy reasons - we've been careful knowing we definitely want to do the FET in February). I'm so annoyed and am now thinking maybe once AF finally gets here I should start the BCP to guarantee my start in February. This late AF will push my February day 1 back if not on the pill. But I'm also worried about my lining. They felt my lining was thin during the ER process and so we didn't do the fresh transfer. Is it possible that having been on the pill prior to that my lining didn't form the way it normally would if off the pill? A part of me wants to go on the pill now to guarantee my start in February but I'm curious if my lining would be better off without it. I was never told I had thin lining until this past attempt at a fresh IVF cycle. Any thoughts?? Any correlation between BCP and thin lining? TIA!!
