Heartbeat during sono - do you hear it or see it?
I should know this considering I'm not a FTM, but I don't remember since DS was born almost 7 years ago.
We have our 7 week ultrasound on Monday  I know during an ultrasound we will SEE the heartbeat, but will we be able to hear it too, or is that done with a Doppler in the OB's office? My OB doesn't have an ultrasound machine in office, so I go to a radiology office where they do it. I'm hoping we'll be able to hear the heartbeat on Monday, but I wasn't sure if it has the capability for sound and if we'll have to wait until I to back to the OB again for him to use the Doppler.

I would think you would hear it at a radiology office since they have a high tech machine. I had mine done in the Drs office so we didn't hear it.

Mine was at my doctor's office and we heard it. It was an internal though. Not sure if that makes a difference. But I agree, at the radiology office I would expect to hear ti.

We did not hear it at 7w1d because they said we wouldn't be able to so they didn't turn the sound on. Definitely saw it though.

We went this morning and heard the heartbeat! Baby looked good. The only thing that worried me was that I am 7 weeks today but baby was measuring 6 weeks 4 days. The tech said it was fine, but I haven't talked to my OB yet. Anyone else measure small this early on? I'm measuring!6 days smaller...kind of worried.
