Carpal Tunnel
Who knew?
My hands are aching and going numb. It's making it even harder to sleep, and the process of writing shower thank yous has become downright comical (if it didn't hurt so much) since I'm pretty sure no one will be able to actually read what I've written.
Apparently this is from the swelling, which is putting pressure on the nerves in my wrists? Is there anything I can do to help besides taking tylenol every day and feeling guilty about it?

When I was pregnant with my twins I didn't have this, however postpartum, I'm having awful symptoms I can sympathize with you I'm 6 weeks pp today and it's been happening since week 3. I wouldn't feel guilty about a little Tylenol, I always just called my doctor before taking anything!

Re: Carpal Tunnel
I never was told to take anything for it. It was recommended that I get a wrist brace and wear it as much as possible (especially at night.)

I had it with my first, it sucked. I used the wrist braces and tried to keep swelling down as much as possible. The good news it went away the instant I delivered.

Ditto. It sucked because towards the end, quite a few of my fingers were numb 24/7. The braces helped a little, but it didn't go away until after delivery.

You can try a brace. I wear an amber bracelet because after my second pregnancy, the pain didn't completely go away like it did with my first. It actually helps a lot.
