HCG 7000 at first Beta
Hi ladies,
I am new here and have been reading a lot of the post and you guys are amazing.
I am in my first ivf cycle, we were lucky to have have 3 pgs tested 6 day embryos. 2 weeks ago we transferred one embryo only according to our RE’s advice.
I went in for my first beta this morning ( 15dpt6d) and thankfully I got a BFP! My hcg was 7000!!
My Re was concerned about the HCG being so high, and I’m going in for blood work in 2 days and sono in 4 days.
I am wondering if any of you ladies had a high HCG and what outcome did you get? Thanks and Happy New Year!

HCG 7000 at first Beta
Crashing. I had a natural pregnancy and my betas were always sky high- close to 60,000 before I hit 6 weeks. My OB looked slightly panicked as well and blurred out "whew, only one in there!" when she did the sono. I will say, I was incredibly sick my entire pregnancy. I needed zofran from 6 weeks until the day I delivered.
I gave birth to a healthy baby girl who is now 2.

HCG 7000 at first Beta
My beta was 7000+ at 21dpiui, I have 11 month old twins. My betas were so high because there were 2. I have heard extremely high can be a molar pregnancy, however it’s so rare I didn’t think twice. Also, because you took fertility medication, that shoots your numbers up which my doctor let me know before I knew there was 2. Because your numbers are so high a sono will show you exactly what is in there! Congrats!!!

it is possible even though you put one embie in there that it split into two.
I've heard stories on here that people put 2 in and got 3 babies b/c one of them split.
Good luck!!

That was my triplets!
It’s rare but it happens.....someone’s gotta be the 1%
OP, I def wouldn’t draw conclusions based on betas. I had triplets even though my betas were not indicative of multiples... and single pregnancies that had huge rises. The best indicator is the sono.
