Cape May where to stay kids 4 & 7

I have never been to Cape May but have heard it is nice. My children are 4 & 7. Looking to go for two days. Any recommendations where to stay? I know we can drive to Wildwood, which we have never been to.

Icona Diamond Beach.
The only hotel I will stay at down there

This year we are trying their new property, Icona Cape May.
But it's a lot smaller.

The Diamond Beach location is great with kids because the rooms have kitchenettes.. microwave, stove top, fridge, dishwasher, Keurig machine, all utensils and plates etc.
And the rooms are suites...so you have a living space and seperate bedroom which comes so in handy with kids. You can put them to bed and hang out in the living area...or the balcony. I think all rooms have balconys.
Also a bigger pool than the Cape May location. Pool service for food and drink.
Free beach chairs
Huge PRIVATE beach with beach service...will serve you right on the beach.
It's a short drive to Cape May

Thanks. I put this in my notes file! We usually stay in AC... but we’ve stayed at Revel which was fun for me. Maybe we try this place next time!

It's really top notch. They took an old hotel and renovated it beautifully.
They even have a cool bar right on their private beach with live music and fire pits.
Really good service too, you feel pampered. Last year I was sitting by the pool and a pool attendant noticed my water cup was empty and came over with a pitcher to fill it so I wouldn't have to get up and go to the water dispenser. Chat Icon

A long weekend. We go Friday and get their early (to beat traffic) and spend the day using the facilities. We leave Monday. So 3 nights.
I think 4 nights would be better though because i always say i need just one more day when we have to leave!
It's a bit pricey though so that plays into it too

You are going to LOVE it.

One pro tip...dont eat breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Over priced and just eh. Walk a block to the restaurant in the hotel a block over... their restaurant, Jamaica Me Hungry, serves a great breakfast! We eat there for breakfast every day we are there.
