Shellac?
Can anyone recommend a salon in south shore nassau that does shellac? Not gel, not Essie, the CND Shellac.
Thanks!

Re: Shellac?
I had the CND done at a place called Ace Nails. It’s in between Tai Show and All-American in Massapequa on Merrick Road. It was $12. That stuff is gold.

Re: Shellac?
Ok there are 2 kinds. Cnd Vinylux you can buy on Amazon and do at home. No light, no soaking off. It doesn't work at all for me, but the reviews are great. Chips like regular polish for me personally though.
cnd Shellac is the uv one that lasts 2 weeks at least and you have to soak off

I didn’t get it done with the UV light. It was just plain CND polish. It worked for me. I went 2 weeks without a chip.

Did you use the top coat? I think that’s the important step.

Shellac?
Ahh ok. I was talking about the one with the light. I get the vinylux on my toes. It doesn’t last 2 weeks for me on my fingers (even with the top coat).
I nearly died at the amount of money I thought I’d thrown away over 4 years!
