Christmas morning breakfast
Does anyone have anything they make for Christmas morning breakfast the night before or a day or 2 before? I’m working a half day Christmas Day 12-6, I want to have a nice breakfast for my kids and husband that just needs to be reheated so we can open gifts and spend time together rather than me cooking and cleaning up!

Not really because when you bake it, the top part crisps up a bit. It's soft, but not soggy

Re: Christmas morning breakfast
We always do a big brunch that includes:
Scrambled eggs or a strata or a frittata Baked french toast casserole or a cinnamon bun bake Bacon and fresh sausage (not frozen patties) Assorted pastries/donuts Homefried potatoes with onions and peppers Broccoli cheese puff pastry pinwheels (savory) Cranberry feta chicken salad croissants Mimosas, coffee and juice
I like a mix of sweet and savory items and we put the spread out so people can pick while we open presents all morning

Re: Christmas morning breakfast
I’m going to try the blueberry puff thing for New Year’s Day. Looks great!
I also like Skinny Taste’s Creme Brûlée French Toast Casserole.
ETA: this one with peaches is pretty good, too.

Re: Christmas morning breakfast
I make the Pioneer Woman’s Cinnamon Baked French Toast Casserole. Delicious and really easy. You put it all together the night before, and bake it in the morning. The recipe calls for sourdough bread, but I make it with challah bread.

When you beat the cream cheese with the other ingredients, does it completely dissolve? My cream cheese broke down into small little balls that remained on top of the croissants when I poured the milk mixture over them.
