I used to like dogs, although I only had one when I was a kid. DS started asking for a cat and we got him one 3 years ago and I love him now and all cats, specially kitties. I agree with a PP that said dogs are needy. I love how cats are independent yet affectionate. Mine cuddles with me more when he feels I'm sad. Very amazing creatures.

I love cats more. Less maintenance since they care for themselves. Dogs are too much work

If I had to choose it would be dog. I do like cats too - some more than others. I kind of feel like cats vary in personality more than dogs, and that there are a lot of nasty cats out there lol

I grew up with cats, my husband grew up with dogs. We currently have 2 dogs.
