Ear piercing and pools

My DD got her ears pierced yesterday. She goes swimming twice a day at camp. It never occurred to me that a chlorinated pool would be an issue, but I’m reading that you shouldn’t go in pools with a new piercing.

Has anyone else’s kid gone swimming right after having their ears pierced? Did their ears fall off?
