That is why I hate 1-800 Flowers and won't use them anymore.
One year they ruined a V Day for me too- by delivering my flowers the day AFTER!! 
They said they had the wrong zip code
OKKKKK
And all we got back was a coupon for $10 off our next order.
Yeah ok- like there will ever be a next order.
We only use Pro Flowers now….the flowers are SOOO much fresher, last so much longer and are always delivered on time!

I worked for them for a short time and you cannot beleive how many calls I would get about them screwing things up. I felt so bad for the people- I quit cause I couldnt stand hearing dissapointed customers all day.

Last year, DH sent me a really cute teddy bear from 1-800-flowers from DS. I got it 2 weeks later  . They claimed that due to the weather that the messenger wasn't able to deliver it on time. They gave DH a "discount" but not for free. I really hope that is the last time he uses them.

So DH, who has been away at a training course for two weeks, send me flowers for Valentine's Day. He always does this, or delivers them himself - so sweet .
So - how do I know he sent me flowers? Because they delivered them today!! I am sick and stayed out of work today, so I didn't even get the delivery- my friend called and told me.
So, I called DH and told him because I KNEW he'd never have them delivered the day before - esp since he told me I had to go back to work tomorrow
Get this - when he placed the order - 1800Flowers offered a 25% discount to deliver them a day early and he told them no - so they do it anyway!! He called them and got the discount, but that really stinks!
That's why I always order from Pro-Flowers.
I worked for them for a short time as well, hated it,the computer sometimes picks the delivery date and the agent needs to type specific instructions in the comments sections to try and override it

OH Miki...that S UCKS...they did that to me a few years ago. didn't deliver until after 6 when the building was CLOSED!
I didn't get them until Feb 16th!
