12-18 months- sending lunch to daycare
DS will be returning to home daycare in September. I have no idea what to send with him for lunch. I cant ask his babysitter to fry up some grilled cheese.
Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

Re: 12-18 months- sending lunch to daycare
Our daycare provides lunch, but if you have to - does the babysitter have a microwave? then you can send just about anything - Chicken nuggets (yup I nuke 2-3 for 45 secs) premade mac and cheese Canned ravioli (annies organic brand) Hot dog (slice down the middle and nuke for 1 minute) You can toast 2 slices of bread, then put cheese on it and nuke for 20 secs and make a grilled cheese.
microwaves rock!

Is he the only child with the babysitter??? I wouldn't feel bad asking my babysitter to make grilled cheese or something that calls for minimal cooking, I would want my DC to not rely on high processed food only for lunch.
But other than that what about uncrustable -PBJ, pasta w/ butter or sauce, oatmeal, yogurt, hummus w/ cracker/veg.

No, there are other children there as well. I am assuming she microwaves lunches for the other children. There are only so many things you can eat without it.
Thanks for the suggestions.
