18 months and waking super early
Any thougths on why my 18 month old is waking at 5ish these last several days crying and whining instead of at 7ish babbling like normal?
I went and got her the first 2 mornings thinking maybe she wasn't feeling well, maybe she had pooped, but now it's day 5 or so and it is not a habit I want starting.
She has 12 teeth. Think it could be the eye teeth? Separation thing? I am at my wits. I cannot lose another hour and she's obviously NOT ready if shes crying. She always wakes up happy.

Re: 18 months and waking super early
Annie, I am soooooo right there with you. Peyton used to sleep 7:30 to 7:30 like clockwork(since 10 weeks old). The past month or 2 has been horrible. She is up between 5am and 6am Which is so NOT ok with me. I can not even let her yell because she will wake up Jordan. I have NO clue why. Nothing is wrong. She is just up and YELLING(loudly) Moooommmmyyyyy, where are you??? And starts going down a list of things she wants, Mommy, water...Mommy, remote The Band(she wants to watch The Fresh Beat Band )....Mommy, calll daddy....It is ENDLESS until she is out of her crib.

Re: 18 months and waking super early
I can't remember if she uses binkies? If my son wakes up before 7 or so I go into his room and pick up whatever he has thrown out of his crib and put it back in including binkies. He cries for a few minutes and then falls back asleep. Declan could sit in his crib for hours. He loves it!

Re: 18 months and waking super early
I finally figured out that the reason DS was waking up at 5 ish was because we have the radio on in his room at night (to block out backround noise). The morning show on the radio starts at 5 or 530, so he hears the talking and wants to be up.
So, the last 3 nights, I left the radio off, and he's been sleeping till 6:30/7. HEAVEN!!!
Is DH getting up that early to go to work, or is she hearing something going on outside to wake her up? If you let her cry, will she go back to sleep?
