1st Dr.'s Appt - Questions
I have my first GYN appt. on Monday, wanted to make one as soon as we started ttc so i can get bloodwork done and make sure everything is working ok since I have irregular cycles.
What are some questions I should ask?

when i went for my first gyn appt. about ttc (could there be more abbreviations in that sentence??)...
the only blood they took from me was to see if i was PG(because i had a stomach virus, was puking in their office and AF was due that day), and also to make sure i had all my shots, MMR, etc.
they had a lot of questions for me about Dave & I and our backgrounds, but that's pretty much it.
i had just come off the pill, so i had no idea about my cycles. i'm not sure what they will do for you - but good luck!

If you have irregular cycles tell your doctor you want CD3 testing.
Don't let them blow you off and tell you its normal to be irregular.

I just got back from mine- my doc took blood to make sure I still have immunities to measles/mumps/rubella and some other stuff. Also, she took some to see if I am a carrier of cystic fibrosis- you can do it later but she said it's good to get out of the way.

Cycle day 3. CD 3 tests will test your baseline levels for important hormones.

you should tell them about your irregular cycles
in terms of average length
i was already charting before TTC so i brought my charts with me to my 1st appt. to show them
