1st time flying with ds-what are the essentials to bring?
hi mommas, my brain isn't cooperating and i can not for the life of me get all this packing done properly. i keep feeling like i'm missing something! what would you say are the essentials to bring when flying with a 10mo old? would you recommend the stroller or just a carrier? it's only a 2.5 hour flight but we really want to travel light... TIA!

I would bring the following for the airport/plane ride: -Infant Carrier (with base) and Snap & Go -Bottles with the water already measured in each bottle -Formula in Formula dispenser -baby food & snacks; utensils -dvd player or laptop -small toys that don't make noise -pacifier -blanket -diapers, wipes and extra outfit
When you get to where you are going (if it is still in the US) then I would stop at Target and buy diapers, formula, wipes, snacks and baby food for the length of your stay.
ETA: Bring Sheets for whatever DS will be sleeping in. Also, towels and washcloths.

Depends on what you are doign and where you are going. My first trip with DS we just took the bjorn. We were going to my parents and they had a stroller and infant seat and borrowed a PnP.
I also do not pack diapers, food, formula etc. I take enough to get me there. IF there is a Target or soemthign nearby I shop.
WE recently went to Disney and rented a car seat with the car and we gate checked his stroller. Still bought everything at a local Target.

It sounds like we feed similar things. I LOVE Plum Organic pouches. I have no problem feeding those to DS and he loves them. Spinach peas and pear and blueberry, purple carrot are his favorites. Definitely wont hurt to have some on hand! There's a few other brands that also produce similar but Plum is a great price point for clean, organic food.

Not sure about snacks but we just flew with DD 2 weeks ago (she's 7 mo) & I BF her on take off & landing to help her ears not pop. We also brought some new toys with us she had never seen to help keep her entertained. Remember if u have an iPad too that u most likely wont have wifi while in the air so u can't watch Disney junior apps.. Therefore u might want to buy/download some tv episodes in iTunes ahead of time. Good luck & have a great flight/trip!!!
