Our first plane ride DD was 6 months old and that was to NY for a friend's wedding so not really a vacation.
The following month we went to Disney World for the land and sea package. All of DH's family was there otherwise probably not our first choice with DD being so young. It was great though and they were a big help.
The next two years we went to all inclusives in Mexico.
Skipped the following year to have DS.
This past summer we took both kids to Playa del Carmen in Mexico and rented a house with another family. It was amazing!
This coming summer we are going to California to Disneyland and then down to San Diego to Lego Land. We'll be there for a week.

DD went with us 4th of July weekend to Delaware. We drove. She was only about 7 weeks old. Everyone said we were NUTS but we had a great time and she was SO fine. She bathed in the sink and that's where we washed her bottle as well.


At 7 months old, she is very easy going and I think it has a lot to do with DH and I bringing her everywhere from a very young age.

We took DD to Ireland when she was 12 weeks. BEST time to travel! We took her again to Ireland at 10 months and it was tough because she was much more active and into everything. The plane ride was not fun. Took her to OBX when she was 13 months (drove) and it was a horror show car ride.
So yes, definitely go now when your LO will SLEEP!

With Landon we did a lot:
3 months: Montauk
5 months: Key West
6 months: Disney
12 months: Busch Gardens VA
13 months: Montauk

Its easier when they are younger... go for it!

We went to Vegas when my oldest was 4 months old.

We took all 3 to Disney this summer and Jason was 3.5 months

dd was 2 months we went to a resort in pa. so perfect nd she sttn for the first time the first night we were there and has ever since.

Took DS on his first roadtrip to Ohio when he was 3 months old (13 hours of driving ). Went to Greece for 2 weeks (just me and DS) when he was 7.5 months old.

We took DS to Virginia to visit my best friend when he was about 2.5 months. We did Lancaster at 6 months, and Las Vegas for a week at 10 months.

We love to travel and have no plans to give that up now that DS is here. We are taking him to Hawaii in March. (He'll be 15 months).

We try to always stay in a suite that way we have the kitchenette for washing bottles, etc.

We went to Northern Vermont (7 hr drive) at 5 weeks.

We are going to DC at 4 months.

We will go on a cruise at 9 months.

We love to travel and DS has to get used to it.
