3/5 So it looks like they are pushing for a Day 5 trasfer which would be Thurs. Spoke to the embryoligist today and she said I have 7- 4 cells Grade 1 4 - 2 cells that are good and a 5 & 6 cell. What does this mean? Is this good?
3/4 Fertilization Report: Out of the 35 eggs that were retrieved, 29 mature & only 13 took with the help of ICSI. So we have 13 eggs only I honestly was hoping for more. Please tell me Im overreacting. Is this good? I dont know how to feel.

I have been following so many of your IVF journals & have found them to be so helpful & since it is now my turn in this journey, I decided to do one myself.
I can only pray that my struggle w/IF will end with a BFP & a healthy pregnancy.

Started TTC right after we got married in Feb 2010. Since I had been diagnosed with endometriosis (surgery in 2009) we went straight to an RE after only a few month of TTC on our own.
We met w/ Dr. B & after many tests it turns out the problem is my endo along with hyphothyroidism & DH has some morph issues.
We did 6 IUI's (4 medicated, 2 w/injectibles) all failed & we took some time off. All of the Dr visits & failed cycles were just too physically & emotionally draining for me.
We switched Ins co & Dr's since Dr B no longer took ins & went to Dr Brenner in LIIVF.
We have now moved onto our 1st (and hopefully last) IVF cycle & I feel a sense of calm knowing that we are that much closer to the baby we have longed for.

2/23 - I went in for blood/sono & I have 8-9 follies on each side. they grow. Will get a phone call later w/my meds for tonight.

I go back tomorrow for more blood & sono. My arms are so bruised from all of these blood tests
2/24 went in for more blood & sono today & my follies are growing. I didnt ask for the measurements. I go back Sunday.
2/29 Follies are growing largest 15.5(R) & 16.5 (L) so we are almost there! I am tired of the injections. I feel bloated & moody. Will go back tomorrow for more blood & sono.
3/1 Sono today showed 37 follies! They have grown to size and retrieval is set for Saturday!
I was supposed to trigger w/HCG tonight but since my estradiol levels are high they dont want me hyperstimulating & have called in Lupron to the pharmacy for me.
3/1 Lupron 40 units @ midnight tonight! Retrieval is set for 9:30 AM Saturday!
3/3 my retrieval was this morning & they were done w/in 30 min. It was after the procedure that they ended up keeping me in recovery for 3 hrs b/c I was dizzy & threw up several times. Me & anesthesia don't mix well But the good news is that they retrieved 35 eggs!!!!! They said 50/50 chance that I will OHSS in that case they will freeze them until my body calms itself down. I need prayers ladies that this isn't the case I am home resting & still have not eaten anything Fert report tomorrow!!
