Since there are a lot of times this topic comes up - let's start an 'official one'.
Who is your OB?
What the address/phone number?
How many people in the practice?
Do you have a doc that you have been to that you WOULD NOT recommend?

If i still lived in NY - I would go to:
Anita Wolz or Doctor Timothy Brown in:
N. Massapequa - On Ocean Ave.
(516) 799-4500.
From what i recall - there are only the two of them, though they may've brought someone else in.
When i first started going - I used Dr. Brown until I noticed he had a woman there and then I went to her.
I lived in Lindenhurst at the time and drove to massapequa to go there...i LOVED Anita.
The first MANY years i lived in NJ - i still drove back once a year for my checkup with Anita, because I didn't want to leave...

I didn't like SouthBay OBGYN. I found it very impersonal, like getting my oil changed.

How many people in the practice? 16 or so
Do you have a doc that you have been to that you WOULD NOT recommend? Dr. Marshack, Dr. Richter with Suffolk OBGYN
I'm actually switching out of this practice because I hate them with a passion. DD's birth was HORRIBLE and almost a year later I still have unanswered questions in regard to it.

Dr Nimaroff is the chief of gynocology at north shore lij - manhasset, he also deals with high risk pregnancies. Def recommend him!

Dr. Hanauer - but her partner Dr. Dolisi delievered my son. LOVE them both!!!!

who I see - OB/GYN - Dr. Vanessa Soviero and Dr.Arlene Kaelber - Three Village Woman's Health - office in E. Setauket and Patchogue.
High Risk OB - Dr. Ogburn - love him - his office is at 6 Technology Drive in Stonybrook.
RE - RSofNY - Stonybrook - my primary is Dr. Cain - love her. I also see Dr. Stelling and I like him also.
Not happy with: Karen - nurse practitioner at Three Village Women's Health;
RE - Dr. Bronson - now of RSofNY - I like Dr. Lydic who he works with. Dr. Bronson is nice but not gentle with the speculum and is a "glass is half empty" kind of guy.

She's my doctor too!
Their associate, Dr. Seth Plancher, delivered my DD- and I LOVED him! He was absolutely Wonderful!!! I had never met until about 4 hours before DD was born, but he was truly great.
Dr Plancher's practice is located at 877 Stewart Avenue in Garden City.

I think there are something like 10 docs there!
I would not recommend Dr. Lester at South Bay...it was about 10 years ago, but she said some pretty insulting things that to this day I have not forgotten.

Dr. Davenport at Three Village Women's Health is my OB and I love her.
Don't remember the address off the top of my head but she is in East Setauket.

Thanks to your post on my thread this is the same practice I'm using. My Dr. is Dr. Phillip Schoenfeld.
FANTASTIC! BEST I've been to yet. I haven't been to the E. Setauket office yet, only the Patchogue one because it was close to work, but phenominal office staff, nurses & doctor. Highly recommend!

Who is your OB? Switching to North Shore Medical Group- Huntington Dr. Scanlon...was going to Dr. Stampf but she stopped practicing

How many people in the practice? 4!!! That's why I'm switching b/c ONLY those 4 can deliver my child

yea, I was asking about North Shore Medical Group in Huntington....I dont think anyone purposely ignored it but it got a lot of views and answers...i thought there could be SOMEONE....I am SO nervous about switching OBs b/c I was so use to my doctor....

I just switched to Hanauer also! She was great! I thought she was so sweet and knowledgable and calming..

ok...well I was only doing Huntington to Stonybrook.....I give you lots of credit!! I know it makes no sense for me to stay with that group but switching is so not fun...and i'm switching to a male 
(side note: please not my lurking hours...why am I up!)
