ok...well I was only doing Huntington to Stonybrook.....I give you lots of credit!! I know it makes no sense for me to stay with that group but switching is so not fun...and i'm switching to a male 
(side note: please not my lurking hours...why am I up!)
oh dear..... i went the other way - went from man to woman...but there was NO problem with the man in the practice, i just heard a woman talking one day and went - i'd prefer her....

Thanks to your post on my thread this is the same practice I'm using. My Dr. is Dr. Phillip Schoenfeld.
FANTASTIC! BEST I've been to yet. I haven't been to the E. Setauket office yet, only the Patchogue one because it was close to work, but phenominal office staff, nurses & doctor. Highly recommend!
Oh I am so glad to hear that! I haven't seen any other doctors but I was glad to see between your post and another that the other doctors are great too!
Let's hope we get to see those docs more often!

I think there are something like 10 docs there!
I would not recommend Dr. Lester at South Bay...it was about 10 years ago, but she said some pretty insulting things that to this day I have not forgotten.
I go here too, and he is my FAVORITE- he delivered DS last July & hopefully will be able to do this one.

If I didn't ♥♥♥ my OB/GYN so much I'd go to them being that their office is like 3 seconds from my house... and because you like them!
ETA: I see Dr. Moon at Women's Contemporary Care in Mineola. I think there are like 6 Dr's in that office. I love him to death and I'm so happy he's a young guy. I won't have to worry about him retiring before I'm done having kids!

What is it with some of the dr.'s at Suffolk OB/GYN...my sister had Dr. Lograno and she was due around her older son's birthday and when she wanted to be induced so to not deliver on the same day he said "you should have thought about that 9 months ago" Instead of just telling her "that's not a good idea" or "I wouldn't recommend that"

My doc is not very responsive (doesn't even remember me when I come in and doesn't ask questions), so I think i need a switch, Do they have extended hours or weekends? i work in the city so I'll need someone who can see me later in the day or weekends.

But my doctor is Dr Brenner.
I love her, the NP and the mid-wife
Actually the entire office is awesome!!

they DEFINITELY have weekend hours - yes - that's when I used to go. I'm not sure about extended hours though - i haven't been a patient in awhile...

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Hanauer! Her partner, Dr. Dolisi delievered my son. He was amazing also. I feel like I am in such good care with them!!!

I see Drs. Ketcham and Squicciarini and they are both great. Drs. Sampino and Vullo delivered my sisters youngest. No negatives from me either.
I did go to South Bay OB/GYN before I switched and hated it there. I was just a number. The only good thing I can say is that Dr. Amarata performed my LEEP procedure and it went well.
