4 month old feeding schedule 9when solids are added)
I just got the green light on giving DS rice, then applesauce, then bannanas . I just wanted to know how you actually do or did it.
In other words, did you give 1x per day, 2x per day? etc.
When you are giving 3 things, once you know theyt are not allergic, and the rice, applesauce and banannas are all okay..did you give all 3 in one day...a little confused..
But.......so far he loved the rice!!!!!! And I thought it was pretty tasty too!

I always gave my DD her bottle FIRST because it was far more important that she finished her bottles over eating solids. About a half hour after her bottle I would give her the solids. For breakfast we did 2 tsp of cereal (rice or oatmeal) mixed with a little formula to thin it out and we gave her a fruit with it. For lunch we did cereal and a veggie and for dinner a veggie and a fruit.
Every 3-4 days we introduced a new fruit or veggie. Once you know there is no allergic reaction you can mix and match those fruits and veggies that you have already introduced. We did that until we went through all the Stage 1 foods and then we went right through all the Stage 2 foods and by then she was about 6 months old and we started giving her some table foods. (yogurt, scrambled eggs, pancakes, cheese, pasta, etc.) We didn't really bother with the Stage 3 foods.........the meals were vile and my DD preferred real table food which was fine by us.
