4 month old sleeping on tummy i dunno what to do HELP!
Ladies my 4month old has started rolling over onto his belly a few days ago and when i put him down in the crib at night he'll sleep on his side then roll over onto his belly and he can sleep like that maybe for an hour and then he wakes up crying and looking uncomfortable but he cant roll back over onto his back, im getting up every hour to turn him just for him to do the same thing, i don't know what to do did anyone else's DC do this? What am i supposed to do? do i just have to deal with it until he learns to roll back over onto his back? I need your help ladies im not getting any sleep??????? TIA

I don't have any answers for you sorry but I'm bumping this to see what other people say b/c I have a feeling dd is going to start doing the same thing soon and I am not looking forward to it!!

hmm, i am not quite sure what you can do. maybe you can try a sleep positioner? it kind of gently holds the baby in place.
otherwise, you can try practicing tummy time during the day and try to get him to roll from his belly to his back.

If he is rolling over, there is nothing that you can do to stop him from sleeping on his belly.

Yup! This is just the beginning. Soon he will be able to roll back over and you won't have to get up and flip him. My DS did this for a while and would start screaming when he rolled onto his stomach, and couldn't roll back over. He is 6 months now and is all over the place. He sleeps in crazy positions. Once they start rolling, there is no stopping them.
I would not put a sleep positioner or anything else in the crib. This is actually the time that you should remove everything from the crib.

I spent alot of time when ds learned to roll one way doing tummy time so he would learn how to roll back... there is really nothing you can do about it... and avoid the sleep positioners once they can roll as i know of several people who have told me they found their child who had rolled their face into the positioner which i would assume is not a good thing

well so i guess all i have to do is wait for him to roll back over onto his back, is there anything that I could do to speed up the process? thanx for all the advice ladiessss

My twin girls are 4 mths and started doing the same thing. From 1am on I get up every 1/2 hour to flip a baby. I am exhausted. Just know you are not alone!

I thought it was just my DS that was doing this! but i guess its fairly common, take you ladies for all your help, It makes me feel a lil better
