4 month wakeful period?

i think it's my turn to go through this!!!! does it effect naps too?

Oh no!! I feel your pain!

We went through this and it was the absolute WORST. It didn't really affect his naps, but he went from STTN to being up every 2-3 hours. It was absolutely horrible. I tried to wait it out but was going insane from lack of sleep. We started sleep training 4 nights ago, and we are back in business! He is STTN from 730-730 (for the past 2 nights ) and naps waaaaaaaaaaaay better than before!

My DD goes through very brief stages of not sleeping well. I thought we were experiencing the 4 month wakeful period last week. DD didn't want to go down for naps--I tried everything and when she did, they'd be extremely short. And then over the weekend, she started waking every 2-3 hours again like a NB, but I'm happy to say this week, she's napping again and STTN again. Hope it's short-lived for your DD, too!
