6 month old cold
My poor DS has a cold :(
I've done it all humidifier, vicks on chest and feet, bathroom steam shower but he's so congested. Also he is a belly sleeper .... he is teething terribly which is what I think is causing this but I am also giving tylenol to help relieve the teething. Is there anything else I can do???

If he's also snotty, use saline drops to clear the nasal passage then use a bulb to get the snot out.
I heard some doctors do not recommend this because the mucus supposedly forms a protective layer but you risk an ear infection if you don't. My DS developed back to back colds that lead to ear infections 'cus germs from the nose infected the ear tube. This happened about 3 times, all when he was under 7 months. :P

This, I was told by my pediatrician was perfectly safe as often as needed.

My cousin swears by J&J Soothing Vapor Baby bath and it can be used on baby over 3mths.
