My 2nd successful induction!
I had my team green baby on Sept. 19, 2013!! A BOY who we named Joshua James 7lbs 3oz 19.5 inches!! He was born at 2:38pm after a successful induction. Went into the hospital at 630 am and wasn't taken into a room till 9am. My dr broke my water and immediately started contracting. I was given pitocin a little while after and it made contractions so painful! Around 11 I was 4cm and got the epi. After the epi my bp dropped really low and I almost threw up. They got my bp back up and it was smooth sailing after that. Around 2 they checked me bc I started feeling cramps down low and I was fully dilated. I pushed for about 30 min and he was born! That "it's a boy" moment was amazing and so worth the wait!!!
I also wanted to add that at my 20 week anatomy scan they found a calcification on my babies heart. They told me it was a marker for Down syndrome. I was so worried! Thankfully My son was born perfectly healthy!
