9 weeks too late for sleep positioner?
DS has been sleeping in the swing most nights...hated the bassinet and I think it has to do with sleeping flat.
Put him in the crib last week and he slept fine for 2 nights (4 hour stretches) but since then, he'll go in sound asleep and wake up 10 minutes later.
Is it too late to try a sleep positioner in the crib? Eventually he will be too big for the swing and I want him to get used to the crib.

Re: 9 weeks too late for sleep positioner?
Once they can roll or move around too much, I think it is too late for it. DD#2 rolled at 10 weeks, so that made it unsafe for us.
BTW: Peyton starting sleeping on her belly at 10 weeks, once she rolled, I could not stop her. But she started sleeping through the night that way. By 12 weeks she was sleeping 12 hours a night. She is still at 1yr a belly sleeper.

Are you swaddling him? I don't think I positioner will help or at least it didn't for me. With DD, sleeping on the boppy worked and DS slept in the swing for at least the first 3 months and transitioned well to his crib.
I might get flamed for this but I let them sleep in the swing for as long as they wanted in the beginning. I was in no rush to get them into the crib until they could sleep on their bellies.

We tried using the sleep positioner at 3 months. DS couldn't roll over yet, but it didn't really work b/c he kept sliding down the positioner. He'd wake up and cry when wound up flat on his back instead of on the incline.
