a little peeved - H1N1 shot
DH and I will be travelling overseas in a few weeks. I have not been able to get this vaccine, but my brother in law who is FDNY got one. grrrrrr! My OB told me get one however I can, sigh.

My friend is supposed to get me the phone number from the CDC where you can make an appt to receive the H1N1 vaccine. I will give it to you if you'd like, as soon as I get it.

You can find them in the city - not sure how convenient that is for you - go to www.nyc.gov/flu and search for the H1N1 vaccine. I was able to get it this week at a clinic on 16th Street.

search google for whatever county you live in and "H1N1" vaccines" or clinics. I know nassau county had a clinic on friday evening in uniondale. You may have to bring "proof of pregnancy" fro your doctor (just a letter). I live up in Putnam and my doctor's office actually had the info on the clinic this weekend up here and I got my mercury free shot yesterday.
