BEST: Husband's test results showed no brain tumor, and THE LORD provided work enough to pay our billls !!! Our Daughter finally owns her own home!!! Our other Daughter had a great first college semester. Our Son finally received his accident settlement after a frustrating six yrs. wait. The worst was probably my Mom having to go to a nursing home, but she is content there. Mary

getting married to a wonderful wonderful man

worst:
losing an amazing mother in law
almost losing dh (he was rushed to er for oil build up in his lungs, he almost died)

Best: Going to Bahamas with DH and DD for Dh's 35 birthday.

Worst: Getting laid off... but its from a job I don't like. Hopefully I'll find my calling in 2011.

I lost three close friends this year, along with an aunt and an uncle. It was so hard to see all that sadness this year.

best giving birth to my 2 beautiful daughters, took a long time to get pregnant with help and they are the joy of my life,

worst, i am thankful that i cannot think of anything, yes bad things happened but nothing so major that i can even think of them right now

Best- celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary on a 9 day Southern Caribbean cruise

Finding out all was well after a health scare

Worst- having 2 biopsies and a lumpectomy (all separate times) and waiting for the results...

redoing my kitchen
meeting a great man
not reliving 2009!
making to to 28 was pretty great too...just need to make it to 29 now! ( i have major fears since DHs death)

worst:
LDH aunt died from brain cancer
knock down drag out fight with LDH family causing me to no longer speak with them.


over all im just happy to be alive with DD!

Best: Getting pregnant with my first child!

Worst: I really can't think of anything thankfully. I think last year hopefully used up all my bad luck for a long, long time.

Aside from my pregnancy, 2010 is probably the worst year in a decade I've had.

Worst:
My mom's declining health/terminal illness and dealing with all of her hospitalizations and all that goes with it.

Friends' miscarriages, alot of family drama, my poor pup got very ill for a while and cost us alot of $$, just glad he's ok and losing touch with some friends.

Best:
pregnancy, finding out we are having a daughter, was actually able to save $ this year, paid off some debt.

I am really looking forward to a new year!

visiting italy, spain, france, texas, and mexico

worst:

losing my job that i loved
my ex-fiance leaving me 2 weeks before our wedding (although this turned out to be a very good thing)

luckily none of them are currently life threatening, so I am grateful for that and my uber supportive DH.

This year has been the worse year for us.

Cruise to Mexico
Sister coming to visit from FL

Worse of 2010
My Dad almost dying in an accident and needing surgery
Tragic death of my cousin
Uncle diagnosed with Cancer

Hopefully 2011 will be a better year.

best: birth of our secind daughter, Kate Marie in March.

Worst: probably all the stuff leading up to her birth. I went early with DD #1 and had a lot of trips to the Ob's office and L&D for a few scares.

Thankfully she was born at 38 weeks, 9 days before my scheduled c-section.

I couldn't be happier wiht my 2 beautiful girls.

Filming an episode of "Say Yes to the Dress" with my sister
Seeing the episode air in May
My sister's wedding
The bachelorette trip to the wineries

Worst:
Almost losing my dad when a tree crashed through his windshield while he was driving on Jericho Tpke back in June.

The fact that we pay so much for health insurance now

Best: Watching both of my boys grow and learn every single day. I am beyond proud of them. Jack has come so very far with his speech delay and I can literally cry when having a conversation with him now. We worked so hard to get here. Tyler, my little maniac - went from a teeny little baby to this amazing, happy, smart, and fiesty little boy. I am beyond blessed, and thank God for them every single day.

My worst happened on Dec 16, 2009 but it was the end of the year and has really carried over into 2010. My uncle died of a heart attack out of nowhere. This has hit my family so hard. My cousins are still so devastated. My dad lost his best friend of 40+ years. I can still hear my dads cries when he walked in the house. This day will forever haunt me.

Best: The birth of my incredible Son, the overwhelming love I feel for him is astounding. Becoming a Mom is the best thing that has ever happen to me.

Worst: My 25 year old cousin tragically dying by hitting a tree with her car on her way home, she was a couple of houses away. She just got her dream job the day before!

-Getting Married
-Concentrating on what I would love to do full time (writing)
-DH getting a tenure track professor position
-Finding out we are expecting our first child

Worst:
-My sister being in and out of the hospital about every other month this entire year .
-Moving away from all of our friends

Best:
Getting Married to the best person I ever met.
Having an awesome honeymoon in Spain after a very long delay due some volcano eruption.
... and the truly best is becoming pregnant with our son who is due in February. We cannot wait.

Worst: My aunt dying and never telling her that we were expecting. She was actually my grandmother's best friend but treated me like her grandchild. She was an amazing person and I miss talking to her every week.

My cat passing away the day after we got back from our honeymoon. I know it's just a cat but she was there when my mother was going through her chemo and in a weird way comforted her when my mother was at her sickest. Now, I don't have both of them.

Jan 24, 2010. Receiving an email from my long lost half sister after trying to find her for some time. A week later -meeting her, her sons and her DH. One of the most amazing events of my life!!!!!!

getting the chance to go to Rome/Florence/Monaco/France. Simply amazing.

one of my bfs telling me she was pregnant. then the baby

all friends babies being born! and more pregnancies announced!!

carribean cruise in summer-loveeeeddd it!

Worst:

my first pet, my sweet kitty dying in June :( it was so sad to watch him detiorate and i was devastated!!!

2010 was a wonderful year for us...

Best:
Finding out I was Pregnant
Had My baby shower and preparing for baby
The Birth our baby girl Juliana
seeing my sister meet Juliana for the first time.


Worst:
Third trimester was during the hottest summers recorded.
Having baby blues and feeling guilty about it.

2010 was a record-breakingly great year for me. I'm so grateful.

Best:
-Getting new job that I love
-Getting married
-Having my friends from abroad come over for the wedding
-Honeymoon in Bali
-Moving to my new house
-Finding out my DH has a great new job

Worst:
My DH spending half the year unemployed and half the year at a job that he was over-qualified for. Luckily, that's over, but it did cause endless stress. In the scheme of things, this is really a tiny setback, and I don't really consider this worthy of the "worst" category...but it was all I could think of.

Worst - being diagnosed with breast cancer in January - surgeries in February, 4 months of chemotherapy and 5 weeks of radiation

DH tore ACL in November

My kitty died the week before Christmas

Best: July 21 - clean pet scan and the cancer was gone

the good news continues tomorrow when I have next follow up petscan.

buying our first home

Worst:
my uncle (mom's only sibling) passed away at the end of june, he was so sick and took a turn for the worst right before our wedding and wasn't able to be there although he wanted to be there so badly.
