Acid reflux - baby zantac questions

My doc told me to put ds on enfimil ar for his reflux. It seems to help a little but he is still struggling through
Most bottles. Doc said the next step would be baby zantac. Anyone try this? Does it work with the struggling and spitting up? What formula do you use in conjunction with the zantac? Tia!!!

DD was put on Zantac at 5 weeks for projectile, violent vomiting (she almost never spit up, just violent vomiting).

She did great! She was also on Alimentum. We tried switching to Enfamil AR at 6 months and it messed with her SO badly. Powder constipated her, liquid gave her massive diarrhea so we ended up on regular Enfamil with zantac and she has been fine since!

DD is now 10 months and we are hoping to wean her from the zantac soon!

ETA - we wanted to switch OFF alimentum because it is VERY thin which doesn't help reflux. We initially thought maybe she had a protein allergy (hence the vomiting) but it was just reflux so we figured she didn't need the alimentum. It was rough trying to find the right formula but regular Enfamil has been great!

If I were you, knowing what I know now, I would try regular Enfamil with zantac! Give it a week or so to really work!

my dd was on zantac from 2-6 months old. She was on Alimentum due to an intolerance to dairy. And I had a brand new baby. I never used the formula your on but zantac and alimentum was the key to my baby.

Zantac DEF itself was a positive difference for her. Its mild BUT effective!

My ds wasn't projectile vomiting. He was just never satisfied with one bottle and cried (really screamed ) all the time. He was prescribed Zantac and it didn't work for him.
Then he was prescribed Axcid. That in conjunction with enfamil Gentle ease worked. DS finally started sleeping through around 6-7 months old.

dd was on Zantac since 2 months maybe a little earlier. I had to convince the drs I anted the meds to help her. No allergy, Ever formula I tried didn't help. She spit up, screamed and suffered through EVERY single bottle, gulped you name it. We then tried AR and Zantac and that def it. It calmed her eating habots down. She still spit up and still does even at 8 months and on food haha. Every other formula made her poop like crazy. she has a very sensitive stomach still I really think you need to play around with it and find a good combo

DS was on Zantac for maybe 4 or 5 months and it helped tremendously!
