acupuncture
Hey girls! so i had my first acupuncture appt. I went to this woman in Oyster Bay...she specializes in fertility and my husbands go workers all go to her so she came highly recommended. She's not cheap, but at this point Im' up for anything...
So it was great. Just by looking at my tongue she gave me so much info..she said she can tell nutrients aren't getting to my organs...told me I have stomach trouble (I do) I'm a worrier (i am) and seems to think my main problem is a blood flow problem and that my temperature is running low...and I need to bring it up to make my "nest" more fertile...she said blood is important for implantation....soo...she told me to eat red meat 2 times a week, nothing cold, no salads or raw veggies...said drink cherry juice, rasberry tea, add cinnamon to as much as I can, eat soup, and eggs...so I'll do all that...
as for the procedure itself it was very calming...she did my stomach, hands, feet, legs and ear...so I'm going to keep it up! worse comes to worse I just get more energy...she said my tongue quivers which means my chi is off (energy) so it was interesting to say the least.

Re: acupuncture
That is so interesting!! It makes sense knowing about different nutrients being in your body by your tongue. I am so paranoid about needles, I am not sure I could do it, but it definitely sounds calming and worth it!

I am TERRIFIED by needles..such a wuss and I didn't feel it. I just laid there and didn't look at what she was doing. luckily none in my face, that might have freaked me out...but it was definitely calming and I'm excited to give it a try

I can agree with Jen. I use to get accupuncture a long time ago after a car accident. You can barely feel the needles at all.
Jen, I am glad you first experience went well. Maybe I will consider it too for TTC and to help me relax.

It really was relaxing...I totally need that since my head is always running and it's nice to lay there for 45 minutes thinking of nothing really.
