What a horrible way to do it. There was 5 minutes left of my lunch period. I was running to the ladies room. The principal calls me in quick and tells me. Then I am expected to go teach 2 more periods? I am trying so hard not to cry.
I'm just glad they are doing projects because I don't have the energy to do anything.

I am so sorry. Why do they always do it at the most ridiculous times. When I was student teaching, they told one woman right as she was about to go to her first class of the day. So awful.

No, I am patiently waiting for that call. My home district was looking for my position. The dept head said they will call me within a month to schedule an interview.

I'm sorry! They did it in such a horrible way. Some people just don't know how to deal with people and bad news. When I got laid off a few years back, they told me in the middle of the day. It was weird because I went back to teach and I had this "I don't give a ..." attitude. Good luck with your job search.

Good luck. Things will work out. I got excessed from a school in NYC once and I got put somewhere where I was so much happier. Let's hope there is some good to come from this.

I was excessed 5 years in a row and always hired back. One year, it was 4:30 pm the day before the first day of school. Fingers crossed that you will get a position and be able to enjoy your summer!
