ADHD and CPSE services
My DD was just diagnosed with ADHD on Friday. Next week she has all of her CPSE evals and I was just curious as to what services a child with ADHD are offered through CPSE. I suppose I am asking, how will these services will help her with her impulsiveness?

Re: ADHD and CPSE services
We started with 2x speech and 2x OT. They added SEIT the first year, but took it away when he went into an integrated class.
The speech was helpful for learning to take turns etc.
He eventually got group play therapy as well

Re: ADHD and CPSE services
It totally depends on the child's needs. First, they need to qualify. Having been diagnosed with ADHD doesn't automatically qualify you for services, significant delay(s) must be found on the evaluations. Services are determined to address those delays, ranging from SEIT, OT, speech, psych services, parent training, etc.

Re: ADHD and CPSE services
DS was in an integrated class for K - 2, he moved out to typical ed this year and has done wonderfully. He gets resource room assistance one period per day (most days).
