Advice needed on car seats
So my DS has outgrown his infant car seat and we need to buy him a new one, and I have a few questions:
Is Brtiax the safest car seat on the market?
I really liked the Britax Boulevard, but I just read somewhere that the Britax Rondabout is safer, Is this true? What Britax do you like best?
Are there any other car seats that you recommend besides the Britax?
TIA I am so confiused right now.

Re: Advice needed on car seats
I have a Comfortsport and a Britax Boulevard. I like both, but I like the Britax better because there are no slots to adjust the straps like other carseats. Instead there is a knob and you turn it and the straps adjust up and down. Soooo much better than re-threading straps!!! The latch is so easy too!

Re: Advice needed on car seats
I have the britax marathon and LOVE it.
I have heard only good things about all of them.
BUT if memory serves, the roundabout weight limit is around 45 lbs. The Marathon and Boulevard is 65. IMO if you are going to spend that kind of money i would want the most use as possible

We love our Evenflo Triumph and they have high safety ratings. We have 2 of them and have never had any issues.

We have the Britax Boulevard for my car, and the Graco sport for DH's car. I think they are both highly rated.

Both my kids are in Britax Marathons. Love them. My son is 4, over 43" and 42 lbs and is still in his Marathon!

Re: Advice needed on car seats
The Boulevard and the Diplomat are the only two Britax's with Side Impact Protection, so I would go with one of those two.
We have the Boulevard, and love it!

I just bought two of these this weekend because of their high safety rating.

We just switched DS to his Roundabout last week!
We love it!! I decided on the Roundabout because it was rated better than the Marathon in Consumer Reports and Baby Bargains. The max weight is 40 pounds, but I think DS will be in a booster seat at that point.
The only thing is that it doesn't come with those velcro protector pads for the harness straps so it doesn't cut into DC's neck. I bought them at BRU for $5.99.
