Advice on going to water/amusement Park (Dollywood in TN) with an infant?

Just looking for suggestions/advice...

My DS will be 10 months when we head to Tennessee in June. We LOVE it there (Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg/Sevierville), but this is our first time taking our little guy.

We can't wait to go to Dollywood (AWESOME amusement park!), but it will be a whole new experience for us with a baby.

Any advice on how to plan our day there? I'm thinking it will be hot, so we'll venture into the water park side. Any suggestions? They also have comfort stations you can rent... do you think I should shell out the dough for that to have a haven to go to for him to nap?

If you've been to Dollywood with a baby, what rides do you think he'll be able to go on?

Any other advice for an amusement/water park, in general, with a baby?

it is freaking hot.

i have been to disney in july with my baby....
pigeon forge is a different kind of heat.

just prepare. i bought shade extender for my stroller at bru for 9.00.
keep baby in diaper and white onsie.
put a fabric down on stroller like a sheet to help them not sweat as much.

i have amusement park kids. i had my baby at them 2 times a week all summer long in charlotte.

the truth? he is going to be a drag
but life goes on. our first trip to pigeon forge, josh was 4 mos old. he was in a onsie the whole time. i just kept stripping him down.
