Advice on painting kitchen please
DH and I are going to paint the kitchen this weekend and i'm nervous about painting around the appliances and cabinets. i'm afraid i'll mess them up. if anyone has any kitchen painting tips, i would very much appreciate hearing them.
TIA!

Re: Advice on painting kitchen please
We covered everything in that blue painters tape and old newspapers. So far I've only had to get some paint off of two cabinets, and it wasn't hard to get off at all because latex paint is washable and water soluable. You can scratch it off with your finger nail if you press lightly.

Cabinets can be taped off. Use newspaper or tarps to cover anything below where you are painting, in case of splatters (countertops, floors, etc) Most appliances you can pull all the way out, or at least part-way out. Even part-way, you can get the paint below the visible edges of the appliance. It doesn't matter if you can't get everything behind the fridge or stove. You'll never see it anyway, once the fridge or stove goes back in.
