Age cutoff for having a baby?
35 is my personal cutoff, but who know if it'll be just as easy the second time around? I had DS when I was 28 and we only want one more.

37 is my cutoff. I originally always thought 35 but now I raised it to 37.
We are still undecided if we are going for the third. Had my boys at age 30 and 32 and now I am 36.

I was 35 when I had DD and 38 when I had DS. My Dr did not consider me as advanced maternal age at all. I had 2 healthy pregnancies and 2 healthy babies. For me, I would stop at 40+ years old.

I had DS right before I turned 31 and I'll be trying for baby #2 right after I turn 34. For me, I feel comfortable up until 40. My mom had me at 35 and my brother at 38 with no complications and that was over 30 years ago. And then I know people who had issues in their mid 20s. Everyone's body and plan is different and life can intervene and make you change your plans in a heartbeat. So any age cutoff I've ever had in my head has changed here and there.

36 was my limit. It was 3yrs after AJ. we never wanted them on top of each other age wise. Against popular belief we felt that was too much. We wanted a break between pre-school and kinder to have each one home and didn't want them graduating from HS so close together.
LOL we had AJ and said HELL NO! But I kept the idea open for 36 to change our minds. We did not. So 36 came and went and we knew we were done.

I was 33 when DD was born, I turned 38 a week after DS was born. In my head, 40 was always my cut-off to get pregnant. No reason really, just seemed like a good age to me to stop having babies. I'll be 40 in March.

I am 33 and we have been trying for the 2nd for a while now. My cutoff is 35 for me and a 5 year age different between my children. If I am still trying 1.5 years from now then it's just not going to happen and it is what it is.

I would have to speak w my doctor if I were in that situation to make a decision. I was 29 w DS and 32 w DD, we don't plan on a 3rd but if we changed our minds I would think that since I had two healthy pregnancies I could go up to 40...

I never really thought about it. I was 29 when I had my son. I'm 30 now. I guess maybe 35? I only want two kids.

I think everyone's situation is different, if you got married later, dealing with IF, etc.
I had DS when I was 28, this baby will be born when I'm 31. We are closing up shop after this one, but if we were to have gone for a third then my cutoff probably would be 35 (plus, DH is about 5 years older than me).

Obviously I had children later in life and would not rule out a third at this point ( I am 39)
I feel like the answers to this questions has many variables
what age did you get married?
what age did you start having children?
was it easy or difficult to conceive ?
etc.....

I did not want to have babies after 40 but guess what ... could not conceive until 40 and had DD@ at 41. I was more adament about having a sibling for DS who i had at 39.
things don't always happen the way you plan. I know some women who had miscarriages and sick babies at in their early 30's. Both my children were healthy (thankfully) ...

Had my first just shy of 35. My 2nd at almost 37. I felt like i was pushing it at this age. Lol. I would have loved 2 before i hit 35. But that didnt happen.

Age at which I go through menopause.
Seriously, I hope I will be "done" before then! (and I know people who are in this position in their mid 30s).
Otherwise, you never know, when I was a little girl, I wanted to be married by 21!

What is your personal age cutoff for having a baby? Just curious what your personal feeling on it is, obviously everyone is different.
I was 33 when I had dd. I will be 35 for dd2. If we went for a third I would be probably 37/38.
Edit: I was 31 when I got married and dd1 took awhile to conceive so that's just how it played out. Thankfully my second pregnancy was much easier to conceive. For me, I think my cut off would be 39 to deliver.
Are you me? lol. I got married at 31, first DD at 33 and second DD at 35. IF we have a third I will probably deliver at 38-39 too. But we'd have to decide that like yesterday.

Age was never a consideration for me.
I wasn't ready until 35 and so that's when I started trying.
Before that I wasn't ready and there was no way I was going to have a baby before being ready because of some arbitrary cut off date or deadline I gave myself.
Having a baby when I was ready was hard enough...
I know someone who had her first at 42.

Never put much thought into it. I had my first at 30 and just had my second at 33. We probably will go for a third but wouldn't start trying for another year at least. That would put me at 35 or later and I'm okay with that. I always wanted to space out 2 and 3a few years but I do think I'd like to be done before 40.

I never really thought about it - I have time and I'd like two more kids.

No real cutoff for me, just ideals. I had DS1 at 27, DS2 at 30. There was a point where I wanted 2 before 30 but 3 mc later that didn't work out and I was just happy to have #2. I don't know if we will go for #3 but ideally we would be done having kids before I am 35 because we had the luxury to start early. And if we did go for a third I would ideally have the third <4 years apart. That said, if we do decide we want a third and have issues, I am willing to keep trying as long as my dr thinks it is safe and healthy. I wouldn't let my age dictate my family especially with modern medicine. If I got married at 34 I wouldn't hesitate to have kids 35+

I am 34 and pregnant with #3. I will be 35 when I deliver.
I am right where I want to be. done with having kids at 35.
After this baby, I just want a little bit of normalcy again. my kids are 6 ( dd just turned 6 a few weeks ago) and 3. as of now, life is getting a teeny bit easier so, clearly having another will shake things up again and that is fine! but after this baby, looking for things to be a little normal again.
we are very excited and this was planned! I am happy we were both on board now that I am 34 b.c we were not on board a year or two ago. my son is a wild one and there is no way we could have brought another baby into the house. It's still crazy but a little better.

I think 40 would be my cutoff for TTC, so once I hit 40, I wouldn't actively TTC. However, if it happened, I would look at it as a blessing.

I got married at 37. Had DS at 38. Ideally would have had a second immediately. But that hasn't happened. I am 42 now. I thought I would have given up by now, but I do not feel like my family is complete, so I keep trying. I'm at the point of if it happens, it happens. But I won't give up completely.
