Age your LO started walking
My dd just turned 1 on friday. SHe has been cruising for months. But she seems scared of walking. If I put her infront of a walking toy she gets scared and automatically sits down. She can stand for a few seconds without holding on to anything but it seems like when she realizes she gets scared and then drops down. I know its too early to worry about her not walking but I am curious since so many babies I know are/were walking by their 1st bday
Feel free to post the exact age

DS started to cruise around 10 months, took his first steps around 11 months but didnt "take off" until 12.5/13 months.

He took his first steps at almost 1 year, but didn't start full on until closer to 13 months.

My dd was a late walker she officially started walking at 14/15 months I was starting to get nervous too but once she started there was no stopping her LOL.

On her own, no help needed - 15 months

Kaydyn walked the day before she turned one but had been cruising since she was 6.5months old.
Ainsley didn't walk until 14 months.

DD started taking steps at 9 months. For about a month, she gradually took more and more steps—she was pretty cautious. Then at 10 months, she took off. She was really early though. Most of my friends' DC weren't walking at their 1st birthdays.
I think she'll eventually start testing her limits and gain more confidence.

Just before 9 months- I want to say like a week or so before she turned 9 months- unassited- just took off.

Anthony was 10.5 months when he started taking steps and 11ish months when he was full-blown walking. Honestly, he went from cruising to walking overnight, so you'l be surprised when she finally builds up the courage to just go for it!

DS isn't fully walking yet - but if you give him your fingers to hold - he takes off - this started at about 7 months. He will also walk with holding onto furniture and he can stand for about 10 seconds not holding onto anyone or anything now at 8 months

DS started walking at 11 months and was running about two weeks later (it would've been sooner but, the day after he started walking he got the Chicken Pox so he wasn't in a running mood).

For DS1 he took his first steps at a year old. Fully walking at 13 months.
DS 2 took his first steps just at the end of 10 months. Fully walking 2 weeks later at 11 months.

They both started walking with assistance at 8 months, but full on walking right after their first birthdays.

Same here. Before she actually did it though, she was scared; would always drop and crawl.
