Sadly, she will never think shes wrong. She is entitled. Above everyone. Glad to see someone like her NOT get her way and get thrown off the train.
I wonder if she will see how she is coming off. Even in her blog posts, she talks about how well she'll do because she went to NYU.
I do think we all can get caught up in a bad moments but as an employer, I would look at that video very carefully about whether I'd want to deal with someone with that attitude. She comes off as very high maintenance.
Also it's not a PRIVATE phone conversation if it's in a PUBLIC place.

Not defending the behavior of speaking loudly on a cell phone and using profanity, but we all as human beings have had moments in our lives where we are not proud of how we have behaved, and in hindsight, regretted it...The shame of it now is that anyone who is unfortunately witness to someone at their worst has the ability to video it, broadcast it to the world and shame the person mercilessly....
Of course it is case sensitive and things like a crime being committed, or anything unlawful a video could be useful, but in this case I just do not see the value in exploiting this episode..
Just my opinion...

Looks to me like she's doing both. She was trying to defend her actions & being loud, rude & abrasive.

I was about to agree with the above poster that we didn't have enough information to lash out at her like this but after seeing that SUNY Binghamton bashing comment, all bets are off !! As if NYU really is all that?! Holy batman, that chick just got me really angry now!

ITA! Her best bet is to appolgize and say she was having a bad day. BUT the way she comes off, I am willing to bet she will defend her actions. She displayed her own resume on video

Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University - and even I know not to flap my trap like a truck driver in public. Psst - it ranks higher than NYU and NYU in that field costs more .

I agree - I have to say I feel a little sorry for her. Yes she acted like an idiot but now that this is out there - the ramifications for her are huge. No one saw what led up to this so you don't really know what happened.

That interview they posted says she's an account manager for clinique which is 1 step up from a counter manager in a dept store. Her education didn't really get her so far yet!

I don't know if the high road is kicking the woman off the train. But after her comment about "that's why you people work in the train", I'm surprised the MetroNorth staff didn't throw her off the train while it was moving.

. I missed this, but I can tell you it took a year for dh to qualify as an engineer and I think 6 months to be a conductor. It's not an easy job, i hate that this woman thinks her job pushing make up is harder then theirs.
