Sadly, she will never think shes wrong. She is entitled. Above everyone. Glad to see someone like her NOT get her way and get thrown off the train.

I wonder if she will see how she is coming off. Even in her blog posts, she talks about how well she'll do because she went to NYU.

I do think we all can get caught up in a bad moments but as an employer, I would look at that video very carefully about whether I'd want to deal with someone with that attitude. She comes off as very high maintenance.

Also it's not a PRIVATE phone conversation if it's in a PUBLIC place.

Re: Ah commuting....Do you know how well-educated I am?

Not defending the behavior of speaking loudly on a cell phone and using profanity, but we all as human beings have had moments in our lives where we are not proud of how we have behaved, and in hindsight, regretted it...The shame of it now is that anyone who is unfortunately witness to someone at their worst has the ability to video it, broadcast it to the world and shame the person mercilessly....

Of course it is case sensitive and things like a crime being committed, or anything unlawful a video could be useful, but in this case I just do not see the value in exploiting this episode..

Just my opinion...

Maybe now that the video has gone viral it will teach her (and others) not to treat people that way & behave better in public.

Not such a bad thing, is it?

Certainly not a bad thing..I just feel a bit sympathetic because even though she certainly does come off as very smug and superior, the video does not show the events that lead up to the outburst, so for me I feel that I cant make a determination of whether she is defending herself or just being loud, rude and abrasive.....

Looks to me like she's doing both. She was trying to defend her actions & being loud, rude & abrasive.

I do think it's a good lesson to learn - public behavior is just that - public. So we should behave as if...

I was about to agree with the above poster that we didn't have enough information to lash out at her like this but after seeing that SUNY Binghamton bashing comment, all bets are off !! As if NYU really is all that?! Holy batman, that chick just got me really angry now!Chat Icon

ITA! Her best bet is to appolgize and say she was having a bad day. BUT the way she comes off, I am willing to bet she will defend her actions. She displayed her own resume on videoChat Icon

I am embarrassed for her. I wish she was younger, I might be able to rationalize this but a 27 year old woman should NEVER behave like that Chat Icon

Ah the power of the internet...

Someone posted who she is on the youtube comments...

Hermon Raju -

here? is her "education" information.

New York University Finance-Economics and Development/Energy 2008 – 2010
New York University Marketing Management New Product and Service Development 2008 – 2008
New York University Political Science/ Journalism and Mass Communications 2002 – 2006
James I. O'Neill High School High School Diploma 2002

Anyone find it ironic that she doesn't realize the power of "Mass Communications"Chat Icon

Not to toot my own horn BUT I have a degree in public communications from one of the most prestigious (if not the most prestigious) programs of study in the country - the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University - and even I know not to flap my trap like a truck driver in public. Psst - it ranks higher than NYU and NYU in that field costs more Chat Icon .

I agree - I have to say I feel a little sorry for her. Yes she acted like an idiot but now that this is out there - the ramifications for her are huge. No one saw what led up to this so you don't really know what happened.

That interview they posted says she's an account manager for clinique which is 1 step up from a counter manager in a dept store. Her education didn't really get her so far yet!

Really? That's absurd, unnecessary, and childish.

It's one thing to watch a youtube video and chuckle and another to actually create a sounding board specifically to publicly shame someone.

Her job at Clinuque was in 2006 after college. I don't believe she is working there now.

I don't know if the high road is kicking the woman off the train. But after her comment about "that's why you people work in the train", I'm surprised the MetroNorth staff didn't throw her off the train while it was moving.

. I missed this, but I can tell you it took a year for dh to qualify as an engineer and I think 6 months to be a conductor. It's not an easy job, i hate that this woman thinks her job pushing make up is harder then theirs. Chat Icon
