air train jfk
Has anybody taken the air train from JFK to Jamaica? DH is flying home from a business trip, but I need to take DS to the doctor otherwise I would pick him up. Does it take that long to get there? Thanks!!

From the terminals to Jamaica, it takes about 20-25 minutes (if that). I do it all the time. It's a lot easier than driving to JFK and dealing with traffic.

DH had taken it and he say is so much easier to do that and be pick up at the local train station than for someone to go all the way to JFK

Ok great! Thanks! I was reading the website and I thought it said it takes 50 minutes... I felt guilty that I couldn't pick him up then, but it would take me about an hour to drive there if I skipped my son's appointment. Thanks for your response!

Did it 3 weeks ago. Penn station to JFK 1hr. Air train is about 20 min. If he's flying out of terminal 3 tell him to leave an extra 20 min because its the most confusing terminal I've ever been to.

It is the easiest thing I have ever done...really. I think it took about 15 minutes at the most to get from Jamaica to the Jet Blue terminal. So easy.
