almost ready to pop and have to take 3hr glucose??

So went for another growth sono at the Hospital LIJ & they said the baby is Really Big almost 8lbs im 37 weeks so they want me to get my 3 hour glucose ..

has anyone heard of this ??

huh... that seems strange to me. isn't the point of the 3-hour to determine if you need to modify your diet or get insulin shots? what good would that do at 37 weeks?

Ya thats what i thought but they said they make to just check to see if i have it because they think i may have it because if the weight..

I have heard of it one here. I think they did it to Waterspout b/c her baby was about 10 lbs at birth and she had rappidly gained weight. She had her DS when I had mine in 2007 so you might do a search for her posts on here or FM her about it.
