I understand what you are saying, but I wouldn't let it get in the way if you reach the time you would like to TTC and haven't reached your goal. Just try the best you can to eat healthier and you could also still exercise while being pregnant. Just don't do what most of us did the 1st pregnancy with going wild and using the pregnancy as an excuse. Chat Icon

I don't think its crazy, but i think it depends on the details ......

I actually lost 55lbs before ttc ds. Then gained it all back during pregnancy, lost around 15 when he was born/first month, then gained it back during the last year. I joined ww again and am down 13lbs. To me I told dh that I need to lose the weight, and I need time to maintain so that I keep the good habits durring the pregnancy this time... dh knows its going to be longer then planned until we can ttc for #2. But, less weight makes for better odds ttc, a healthier pregnancy(i got preeclampsia and ds was born 4 weeks early, and was close to gestational diabetes). Plus getting in shape will make it easier for me to play with ds and chase him around.

I don't want to try again until I lose 50-60lbs.

My mother says I'm not getting any younger (I'm 29 Chat Icon ) and that if I'm going to have another one I should do it soon.

I was overweight before I became pg w/ DD and I am now the heaviest I've ever been.

Now that the summer is over, I'm trying to get back on track with WW.

I would like them to be at least 2 years apart anyway, so I have some time.

I feel the same way. DS is 4 months old and we want to start trying is 5 or 6 months. I have another 7lbs to go to get to pre-pregnancy weight and 15-20lbs from IVF meds. If I have to take IVF meds again that will put me up another 15lbs, and there is NO WAY I will go into a PG at that weight. I'm BFing so the weight isn't coming off like I had hoped. Chat Icon

Thx for the replies ladies. Glad to know I'm not the only one.

PS I was so good on my diet for almost 2 weeks and then this weekend really fell off the wagon BIG TIME. It all started with a box of Godiva Chat Icon
