Say something to her! That kind of stuff drives me crazy! If you respect her space then she should respect yours. I hated sharing a classroom for that reason! Good luck! Chat Icon

Re: Am I overreacting?

she sounds like she's very hard to work with, i think if she keeps over stepping then say something, if not leave it alone for now

Re: Am I overreacting?

I'd be very angry. The woman who teaches math in my homeroom does similar things- she moves my things all the time, just leaves them on the floor, shows no respect for my space or things.

I'd let it go for now. My co-worker is nuts. I'd left a crate of books on the floor in my room to be sorted, and she started in about how it was compromising her safety, so I finally let her have it. So unless she starts a verbal confrontation, I'd let it go (not saying this is the right thing, it's just the way I am!) I really hate passive-aggressive behavior.

Thanks girls. I have been documenting other behavior of hers all year due to some really unprofessional things she's been doing and saying, but this was like the last straw. However, I am trying to make it so that I take every precaution becuase sooner or later, I am going to be using my documentation to file a very large complaint about her, and I want to make sure I stay as professional as possible to protect myself. But at the same time, I just can't stand to be treated as a second class piece of sh-t! I'm her superior and this is ridiculous!

That is very smart. Documenting is such a good idea!

Wow, I am sorry but that is just crazy!! She should just confront you if she's so aggravated. What she is doing is childish and unnecessary.

I think for me, I would say something, because that is just me.
It is a great idea to document it all.
I am sorry you have this on top of dealing with all the everyday "stuff"!!
