Anyone watch? Just finished it, she is one messed up woman. A bit annoying because a lot of it is in Italian and I did not understand what he was saying

I haven't. And not sure I will.
There's something about her that rubs me the wrong way. I'm still not completely convinced she's innocent.

She literally sends chills down my spine.

In the promo where she says "I'm either completely innocent and a victim of being wrongfully accused or I'm secretly a psycho killer" (I'm paraphrasing)

She's creepy. She's someone that I would never ever want to be left alone in a room with (which is my barometer for creepy people lol)

I will watch.

I just finished watching. I've always thought she was guilty, or some part in it.

I'm halfway through it. I definitely get the creepy vibe from her, but I also don't like how it was immediately pinned on her. She texted her boss and said something like, "See you later" and the Italian investigator took it literally, that she had plans to meet up with him....I didn't like things like that.

I agree, she was so la la la about it
Even when the cops were at her house the day Meredith was killed her and her boyfriend were outside kissing. No tears, no hysteria, nothing

I just watched this. I definitely think she is odd and her reaction in the days after the crime was peculiar (to say the least). But evidence-wise - I don't know, I'm starting to think she wasn't involved. The supposed DNA on the knife was sooo sketchy. I feel like the Italian cop was trying a little too hard to be a hero (reminded me of the police and prosecution in Making a Murdered, actually). Having said all of this, she does give me the creeps...

I saw it. I've never thought she was guilty. Italy is notorious for their corrupt justice system (and I am Italian). She's an odd girl, even in the video from before she left for Italy shenis a self proclaimed quirky girl. Her DNA wasn't found in the room Meredith was murdered in. Being a weirdo doesn't make you a murderer. And after all she went though the past 8 years how can you expect her to ever act "normal" again. I think they have the killer and unfortunately he's already halfway being released. Poor Meredith.

I think by that time she didn't know her roommate was in her room yet. Plus is not like they were French kissing or something like that, they were giving pecks to each other, like in a 'don't worry, everything is gonna be ok' way.

I agree. U see what u wanna see and that's exactly what happened with the police. For example the knife, if I were a killer using that knife, I wouldn't keep it in my bf's apt, in a place that would be easy to find, I'd make sure it'd never see the light of day again. Also, it took the police more than a month to find that bra clasp?!? Very suspicious!

I immediately didn't like her as I started watching it but I do not think she did it. The police and the media seemed to come up with their conclusion and back into their evidence instead of vice versa. That prosecutor seemed very self serving.

I've followed her story off and on and was a bit disappointed that the doc didn't go into the idiosyncrasies of the Italian judicial system ( the "inquisitorial system" -- a judge and prosecutor work together to investigate, therefore the judge is quite biased; a jury in a serious criminal trial consists of two judges and six citizens). I wonder if a criminal suspect in Italy can request a lawyer during interrogation??

Nick Pisa and the other media personalities depicted come off as vultures. I can't believe I agreed with something Trump said .. I guess there's a first for everything!

Re: Amanda Knox on Netflix

I need to see it. I followed the story. The Italian justice system is flawed. I don't think she did it. I think she was weird to start with or maybe some some of disability but the jail time really finished her off. Anyone would lose their marbles if jailed and you are innocent and jailed in a foreign country and people made up evidence or lack of.

I doubt she was doing cartwheels. The reporter even said they made up a lot of the headlines bc it was more sensational.

And as far as ring angry in the grocery store - I imagine that if i felt like i couldn't do mundane things like shopping without people bothering me all the time, I'd eventually be mad about it, too. People like Kim K crave the spotlight and want that attention - Amanda just seems like she wants to put it behind her and move on with her life.

I didn't get a weird or creepy vibe from her as she is now. She just seems a little sad and broken bc of what she's had to go through.

I stand corrected. She was doing splits. Its on video. The media changed it to cartwheels

Re: Amanda Knox on Netflix

I watched. She is definitely odd, but you have to remember she was an 18 year old girl in a new country with a boy she just meet. Additionally, she only knew her roommate for a few weeks, it's not like they were besties.

It seemed like the investigator zeroed in on her and never looked back.

I don't think it's fair to judge her as to how she "acts" no. She was jailed, in another country, away from her family for years.....I think we'd all leave a little odd.

The theory that the investigator came up with that she was playing sex games with her bf and Rudy Guede and then Merideth scolded her for it, so they all took turns stabbing her? Seems so ridiculous! How did they jump to that conclusion? They found Guedes DNA in the apartment. AND he fled the country after the murder. Seems obvious it was him.

I found some of the things she said in the interview to be creepy, but it kind of seemed like she was reading from a script of something instead of just speaking her feelings.

Ok so maybe she is socially awkward and quirky. Don't forget, she admitted in this that they smoked a lot of weed, too. Maybe could have clouded her judgement in the days after the murder?
Having said that, the Italian investigators had NO clue wtf they're doing, also we aren't dealing with Rome or Milan, so we're talking small-city stuff (a-la Boulder, Co). I doubt they have the resources (not to mention oversight) to conduct a real and fair investigation. So corrupt, too.
I say not guilty.

That journalist guy who is English/British/whichever it was - what a braggadocious guy. And a creep. He is so gleeful at times about his name all over.

(Watching now. Not done yet. Still think she's involved).
