Re: An evening at the ER --- I'll now probably contend for worst mommy of the year! UPDATE - SPOKE TO DAYCARE
i talked to daycare this morning. They said that they spent the day holding and cuddling him because he was having a bad day. He wasn't engaging in activity or moving to attempt to engage in activity so they said he, in general, was not moving. So they didn't notice the arm.
They all feel terrible. One of his teachers started to cry when she found out because she was upset that she didn't notice. The other two also felt bad about it too and apologized profusely. The rest of that staff there were notified with his new special handling instructions.
At the end of the day if it was that bad I wish they would have just called me instead of assuming that because he had to fever that he was fine. But it's done now. He doesn't even know what was going on. I called before and heard him belly laughing in the background so that made me feel better.
I told them that anytime he acts out of the oridinary to please call me. His disposition at daycare, other than at drop off, is always pleasurable so it is very easy to tell when there is something really wrong.
I feel better now that I heard him laughing! My little trooper!

I'm so happy to hear he's doing okay. Accidents happen so please don't beat yourself up.
