It cracks me up when people (not here) place so much emphasis on what each candidates "plan" is. I'd be curious to know, if someone went back through each Presidential administration and looked at what each President promised, how much of it was actually delivered on. I know it doesn't have much to do with the debate topic. Just something I brought up to DH.

Carry on!

so true!

Things I'm tired of hearing during these campaigns/debates...

--ANY kind of opposing-party name dropping (meaning you work with high-profile people in the opposing party really well)
--joe six pack
--references to "normal" families in america - "Joe Blow in S.C. can't fill his gas tank."
--"reaching across the aisle"
--change
--hope
--soccer mom

I'm not sure if I am just really tired tonight, but I agree. All I am hearing is blah, blah, blah (like the teacher from charlie brown). They just spew out the same stuff and I really don't think they listen to what each other is saying. It's so circular, I'm getting dizzyChat Icon

so funny you said this, I told DH the same thing - they can stand there and say blah blah blah and get the same info out. We were going to put it on mute and give them our own words to say! Chat Icon
