Absolutely makes sense. I seem to remember this being discussed in the 2006 Senate races where they were waiting for Arlington and Alexandria but I did not want to be presumptuous. Thanks for clearing it up and sorry for being such a thick Yank!

McCain must be kicking himself for choosing Palin. I know so many people who would have voted for him had he picked a different VP. I am not a fan of Obama's policies at all. WAY to liberal for my liking. I pray that he truly finds a way to unite America- conservatives and liberals. Sadly, I think that is almost impossible for anyone at this point.

Yes,that is what happened. But, numbers-wise, it's much more of a margin than Virigina, for example - surprised they called that!

I thought I saw CNN put a little check mark next to Obama - but I am flipping back and forth between so many channels and this point, I could be wrong
