Ankle swelling normal?

It just seems wierd to me that after 20 weeks im just now being faced with this issue. I am noticing a little bit in my hands and more so in my feet. I just fear having to be on my feet for 12 hours tommorow nite for work. Is this something i need to call doc about.

My swelling is HORRIBLE. Dr. said that unfortunately there is not much you can do. He is not concerned unless my blood pressure gets bad.

Stay away from salt and try to put your feet up.

Mine has been pretty bad since about 17 weeks. Like Jen said-low salt, put your feet up, drink excessive water too.

Same here. Started notcing it around 16 weeks, and now they're just swollen all the time. Drink tons of water, and elevate your feet above your heart whenever you can - this is the only thing that works for me. My feet and ankles look best right before bed and in the morning.

When you're sitting, flex you feet to keep the blood circulating.

My problem is not water retention, its pressure on my vessels which is causing the blood to pool. I'm also having issue with my hands, carpel tunnel, so I think this is my body's way of handling mr. baby.

Doc saw me last time, and my BP was good, so she was not concerned. I was due to travel 3 days for work, and she encouraged me to go, even knowing I'd be on my feet for 2-3 days straight.

Pretty normal, I have had it for weeks now.
