Another cord blood banking question
Can anyone ballpark the amount out of pocket up-front that you need to pay?
One o our friends went through Viacord a little over 2 years ago and it was $2500 up front and then another $2500 for storage fees.

You can do payment plans for the initial fee which is about $2200 overall, you DO NOT have to pay all upfront...then you have annual fee for $125 a year for about 25 years....hope that helps.

I think we paid $1700 up front which included the 1st year of storage. It is like $110 a year after that. We didn't use Viacord - they were the most expensive. I'm pretty sure it was cryo-cell.
