A cheap company is a cheap company. I agree the best thing if you want a higher salary is to move. I work for a cheap company too and the only thing I can do is move and so far the salaries are much higher then what I am making.
10% is a nice increase but not when you are making a low salary.

you will be able to find another administrative job in finance, and you could make a lot more $$. have you checked monster.com??
