Re: Any brave mommies...?
Everyone looks amazing! I lost my pregnancy weight pretty quickly. I'm finally working on losing at least a decent amount of the weight I've gained since my wedding. Even if I lose all of that weight, I don't think I'll ever want to show off my stomach again. I don't know whether it's from the pregnancy or c-section, but I have a large pooch that hangs over my c-section scar. I can't imagine ever coming close to losing the pooch.
Can any c-section moms relate?

Re: Any brave mommies...?
I had an apron belly before I had Abby because of a big weight loss. I continued to have it throughout my pregnancy even though I though it would fill out. It was the same after I had her. Its the same now. NO amount of exercise will allow this skin to snap back - Tummy tuck in T-minus 2-3 years.

I really don't see how my stomach can possibly go back. It seems unreal. I went into a spiraling depression on my belly after baby #1. I was in a size 8, still looking like frankenstein.
I stopped trying after that. now this time, I am putting my best effort into it. It will be far from what people have posted...but i still should have nice legs, ***, and arms.
my stomach is stretch marks all over. my c section scar is big with this dead skin hanging over it. looks like an elephant.
i see the bodies...my mom's group has the bodies. no stretch marks.
eta: i have pulled up my shirt and shown off my goods to other moms...they are all sort of shocked with what i have left and the size of my scar
Same for me-except my scar is tiny. I gained 53 pounds with twins and they weighed almost 13 pounds together
ETA: Wanted to say everyone looks great!

Thanks Katie..
I'm in a total RUT!
I haven't been losing any weight either (see d&F lose 10 lbs by july 4th thread).
I go up down .8, then up .8, then down .6, then down .4, then up 1 lb... it's crazy.
I gained 47 lbs and have lost maybe 35 but can't get the rest off. I'm just not happy with how I look, KWIM?
I am the SAME EXACT WAY! It is driving me insane. I can eat a pretzel all day and I will still not lose any weight. I just don't get it. I have never had this problem before. I just don't understand why I am holding on the the last 14 lbs.

Re: Any brave mommies...?
I'm going to be brave
I am 9 months PP. My body has been hanging on to some extra weight as I am still BFing. When I started nursing him less often, around 7 months I felt I lost a little weight so that may be the case for the OP I recently had surgery and haven't been able to work out for the last 6 weeks so I definitely need to tone up I still feel soft in the belly area. Like Julz mentioned, my tummy looks much better when I am standing up! When I am sitting, it's not pretty!

Re: Any brave mommies...?
My stomach will never look the same again without surgery. I have a ton of extra skin, including a big flap that hangs over my c-section scar. My muscles have also not gone back together.
I think some women are just lucky that this does not happen. I could do 8,000 crunches a day, and it would not make the extra skin go away or bring my muscles back together.
It makes me sad to look at the pics here because I know unless I can fork over $10K, I will never look like that again. After I am sure I am done having kids, I will start to put money in the tummy tuck fund.

Re: Any brave mommies...?
Ugh ok here we go:
Alittle over 3 months PP from baby #3
3 kids in about 4 years....all c-sections It doesnt look TOO bad when I stand up straight (and when I have an empty stomach like I did when I took these)
When I bend over, the amount of skin that hangs is gross and overwhelming. Also, after I eat, I bloat like crazy and I look pregnant - no joke. The ugliest part is that in a bikini, my ribcage is sticking out because I'm very skinny on top. And then I have another bulge in my lower belly.
I cant really complain because i do absolutely no exercise (except the walking things thru here). DH bought me a gym membership for Mothers Day so I plan on going, but i dont know if anything will help with it since its really mostly empty skin and bloat.
Full side view
Front view (my belly button is extremely ugly now too - no exercise will fix that)
After just having DD#1 I snapped right back. I never got rid of the extra skin after #2, so now after 3 I dont know if anything can be done

Re: Any brave mommies...?
This was me 8 weeks pregnant with baby #2. It's the only pic I have of my PP belly after DD was born.
I was about 5 months PP in the pic.
I gained 70lbs when I was pregnant with DD, and by the time I found out I was pregnant again, I had already dropped 50lbs. So I'm a little scared of what's going to happen to my body after this baby is born. But I'm pretty proud of where I got before I became pregnant again.
